What’s going on? Just can’t believe it.
It seems on purpose only bad news, yeah, everyday.

I’m sure a murder or something about celebrities.
Reality shows? Man; I really prefer to turn it off.

So then I’ll go anywhere in this world.
Where everything can really “slip through me”.
I hope to find my own true paradise.

Well, today, I read the morning paper.
It was so hopeless that I won’t turn the radio on.
Well I must say I’m ok just staying by my own.

Of every little thing that’s going on nowadays.
